The original Doltone House
Sylvania Waters is where Doltone House began, and it's still one of the Sutherland Shire's best loved wedding venues. The building sits across from the quay-style waterways of Gwawley Bay, with European-inspired elegance and a fresh, modern update.
Ceremonies can flow straight out into Belfiore Gardens, with its courtyard, lawns and gazebo, then back inside for the reception. That makes it a lovely venue to design flowers for, because the day moves through a few different spaces.

For a garden ceremony we love an arbour or gazebo piece that looks good from every side, with aisle flowers that carry the same colours. Inside, the reception room suits generous table centrepieces and a bridal table that reads well in photos.

Sylvania Waters sits on the Georges River side of the Shire, close to Southgate, Kareela and Miranda. Many couples take photos by the water at golden hour, and guests can stay nearby in Miranda or Cronulla.
